This past weekend the Sarnia Spirit U-15 took part in the St. Thomas Select Soccer Tournament. The Spirit played three games, earning a win, a tie, and a loss. Unfortunately they were unable to secure a spot for the semi- finals.

Sarnia won the first game against Oakridge with a score of 1-0, Veronica Carpani scored the goal and Deanna Ritchie recorded the shut out. In the second game the Spirit were unable to score against Kitchener, Deanna Ritchie once again recorded the shut out. The final game in round robin action was against Byron who beat Sarnia with a score of 1-0. Unfortunately the Spirit didn’t make the cut off, but they played their best game of the season.
