Waterloo 0 Spirit 1
Our short handed team played a
courageous game using ball management
and controlled pressure to beat a very
good team. The Spirit capitalized early
in the game and then played a possession
game. Karly was once again solid in net
and our team defence was outstanding.
Morgan Breeze scored the lone goal in
the game.

Sarnia started the game with
12 players, 3 arriving just minutes before
the game due to OFSAA Track & Field
Regionals in Kitchener. Marlowe Pecora was
kicked in the ankle and put out of the game
early which left the team with no subs.
The game began and within 10 minutes, London
is down 2-0 and the rest is history. Elyse
Trudell played a brilliant game playing
sweeper for injured player Samantha Mellon.
Scoring for the Spirit were Jenna Prevost
with 2 and Sydney Mellon Morgan Breeze and
Tori Taylor with singles.
