On July 6  the Lightning were matched up with Sarnia Fury Red and were able to score 2 goals in the first half by Dante Fuoco and Levi Prinsen.  Bluewater had several opportunities to extend the lead, but the Fury Keeper made several quality saves, including a save on a penalty kick and the first half ended with Bluewater leading 2 – 0.  In the second half Bluewater continued to control the play but were unable to add to their lead.  This was, however, a very strong defensive game for the Lightning as they were able to prevent the Fury from any serious scoring chances and the game ended Bluewater 2, Sarnia Fury Red 0.

 

On July 13 Bluewater travelled to Petrolia for the final regular season game of the year between these 2 teams and Bluewater was able to cruise to an 8 – 1 victory.  Scoring was spread throughout the line up with Lucas Ross, Tristan Haagsma, Dante Fuoco, Josh Vale, Tanner Van meenen, Dakota Moore, Joey Ferrera and Chris Harwood all contributing single goals.  Matthew Torti played strong in net, the only goal allowed being on a penalty kick.
