After a long lay-off, due to inclement weather, Sarnia Produce returned to action to face Tomlinson Enterprises at Lambton College field. Both teams demonstrated good form and passing in early action. Tomlinson opened the scoring in the 10th minute of play on a nice goal which caught the Produce defense off guard.  The goal seemed to ignite the Azzurri's offence as they began to mount pressure in the Tomlinson end.  In the 30th min. Produce striker Theo Tsaprailis evened the score on a beautiful shot from 30 yards out.  As the Azzurri kept pressuring they were rewarded a penalty kick on an errand hand ball.

Midfielder Stephan Sirois stepped up to take the PK only to find the crossbar. In the dying minutes of the half, Theo Tsaprailis blasted his second goal of the game to take a one goal advantage into the break.

The second half did not produce many scoring chances until the late stages of the game when Produce keeper Olindo Desena Jr. robbed Rich Chandler at point blank range, not once but twice in the box.  Defence remained strong closing out the second half.
