U17 Spirit lost in Shoot Out Final
The Sarnia Spirit U17 Girls
played in the WOYSL L3 Kick off Classic Division that
was played in La Salle this past weekend.
It was a great weekend of soccer action for the Spirit
as they did not allow a regulation goal in all games
played. Spirit's keeper Karly Dobbin was in net for all
games. The final was played in very hot humid
conditions against a very strong Waterloo Team. Both
teams were evenly matched although the Spirit had the
better chances to win the game. It all came down to the
dreaded penalty shootout and Waterloo came out with a
3-2 win.
