Sarnia Spirit Women Open Season With Two Wins

 

Sarnia Spirit Women opened their 2010 season May 18 in London with a convincing 6-0 win over London United. Carolyne Prevost paced the Spirit with four goals while Eilidh Macintyre and Noelle Stewart rounded out the scoring. Celia Honke recorded the shutout.

Sarnia's home opener was May 24 at Veteran's field where they hosted Middlesex. The Spirit won the game 8-0. Carolyne Prevost scored four goals while Eilidh Macintyre added a hat trick and Kierstan Colbran a single. Amanda Thompson and Taylor Huggett shared the shutout. Prevost and Macintyre are currently the top two scorers in the division, Prevost with 8 and Macintyre with 4. The team plays in the London and Area Women's Soccer League Div.2
