SARNIA FURY BLACK WIN
THREE IN A ROW
The
Fury Black were back in
action against their Club
counterparts Sarnia Fury U9.
An ideal evening for
soccer, the game was played
under overcast skies at
Bluewater Bridge Park. It
was an extremely hot, humid
day but cooled down somewhat
prior to our kick off at the
beautiful water's edge
pitches.
Black
Fury came ready to play and
started the game on a strong
note when striker Mateo
Troiani connected on a
powerful blast to the lower
corner of the U9 Fury goal.
Black went up by two goals
with mid-fielder James Brown
finding the back of the U9
net. Sarnia U9 got one back
when striker Joshua
Gulamadeen made the dash on
goal and fired a low shot
which eluded the Fury Black
keeper. Christian
D'Agostini secured a two
goal advantage once again by
blasting the hard shot from
20 yards out. Fury
Black striker Carter Baron
closed out the scoring for
the half by firing in the
rebound from a free kick
taken by Isaiah Edlington.
Black was up 4 - 1 going
into halftime.
The
second half began with a
flurry of goals as the Black
Fury scored three more in
the first four minutes of
play. Added goals were
scored by Mateo Troiani(2),
James Brown(2), Tristen
Konrad, Dominic
Krasinkiewicz and Kyle
Flamminio. Black Fury
defenders: Dean Palimaka,
Alex Newall and Christian
D'Agostini had strong
performances denying the U9
Fury forwards any quality
chances. Fury Black keeper
Andrew Harron played
extremely well in goal
making numerous saves while
keeping the game in check.
The Black Fury closed out
the game with a 9 - 2
victory en- route to their
third consecutive win.
