At the
Lansdowne fields this week, the Red Army fell to the
well-structured attack of the Cookie Monsters 15-10.
Kartar Singh Kalsi had a particularly good performance
in the win.
The
Huckstables continued their solid start to the regular
season with their third straight win, defeating
Bkejwanong 15-7. Bkejwanong did show some promise
scoring four consecutive points early, however the
Huckstables’ Joe Teft led the way for his team,
finishing them off.
H2O
were led by Mitch Vonk and Jeff Jones as they rolled
over the Megalomaniacs 15-6. Benoit Laroche of the
Megalomaniacs showed his incredible foot speed as he
scored 2 of his team’s six points. Ciara Wright also
had a great game for the winning side.
At
Canatara Park, Huck my Disc controlled their game start
to finish with the Dumpsters. Justin Randall and Katie
“Mac Daddy One” McNamara both played lead roles in the
15-4 trouncing.
In
Petrolia, rain was a bit more of a factor in the
Hungate’s Mom/Ultimate Suspects match-up. Hungate’s Mom
player Adam Wettges had a very strong offensive game.
Jason Powell of the Suspects made some incredible
catches including four for points. Strong games by all
girls on both teams. Good leadership and teamwork from
the tandem of Brian Jubenville and Kevin Brown.
Suspects won 15-8. |
