Dustin Jeffrey
Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds

Jeffrey who plays for
the
Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds' scored 10 goals
and 12 assists for 22 points in 11 games last month,
helping the Greyhounds to a 7-3-0-1 record. Jeffrey
recorded at least one point in all but two games
last month, including a six point effort (one goal,
five assists) in a 6-2 win over the Ottawa 67's on
October 7. He also had a hat trick and one assist in
a 6-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on October
21. Jeffrey was named OHL player of the week for the
first week of October.
The 19-year-old native of Courtright attended SCITS
and former player in the Lambton AAA Hockey
Association, was an
eighth round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the
NHL Entry Draft last June after posting a career
best 34 goals and 92 points in 68 games with the
Greyhounds. A first round pick of the Mississauga IceDogs in 2004, Jeffrey was named to represent the
OHL in the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge later this
month. |
