College went 0-1-1 in a pair of New England Small College Athletic Conference road games last week as the Continentals lost 4-1 against Colby College on Jan. 18 before they tied Bowdoin College, 2-2, on Jan. 19. Hamilton picked up a point against Bowdoin for the first time since 1996-97. Cindy Lukianchuk ’11 (Erickson, Manitoba/Balmoral Hall School) scored the lone Hamilton goal against Colby off assists from Rachel Rapoza ’10 (
Barrington, R.I./Pomfret School [Conn.]) and Jess Goldberg ’08 (Pittsburgh, Pa./Choate Rosemary Hall [Conn.]). Meg Shine ’10 (Duxbury, Mass./Tabor Academy) made 27 saves.

 Against Bowdoin, Kat Manning ’09 (Buffalo, N.Y./Park School) made 27 saves in her first appearance in goal since Dec. 8, 2007. She missed the first four games of 2008 with an injury.

 Her goals against average is 2.83, and she has a .904 save percentage. Amy Allen ’10 (Bright’s Grove, Ontario/Loomis Chaffee School [Conn.]) and Laura Stirrat ’10 (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley HS) scored the goals for Hamilton. Allen is second on the team with four goals. Kathryn Kroleski ’09 (New Rochelle, N.Y./The Gunnery [Conn.]) and Rapoza picked up the assists. Rapoza is second on the team with six helpers.
