The London Supernova won the U16 Ontario Cup
on Sunday September 17 against the Oshawa Kicks
with a final score of 3 - 0.  "We played really well and I felt that we controlled the ball for most of the game", "not too many shots were taken by either side, but the ones we did counted" stated Devon the next morning.

The team now travels to St. John New Brunswick to compete at the Canadian National Championships from Oct 4 - 9 where they will defend their National Title from 2004. Devon was a member of that 2004 National Championship team and is looking forward to travelling to New Brunswick.  "I can't wait to go!" Devon stated.
 

Devon is the daughter of Susan and Nigel Beach and sister of Corbin Beach and  is in grade 11 at Northern Collegiate.  Devon's soccer career started in the Sarnia Girls Soccer Club.  Devon joined the London City Club (formally known as North London) at U12.  In 2006 she was a team player for the London City U16 Supernova playing in the OYSL league, a member of the Ontario Provincial U16 and attended the U16 National Training Camp.
