Devon Beach
Invited to U15 Girls
National Training Camp |

VAUGHAN,
June 16, Devon Beach of Sarnia has been invited to
participate in the National U15 training camp
being held in Vaughan from June 16 - 21. Devon who is a
member of the London Supernova OYSL team
and Team Ontario learnt of the invite late last night in Vaughan
after an exhibition game between
Team Ontario and the U15 National Camp.

Devon began her soccer career in the Sarnia Spirit program then
moved on to the London Supernova Club at U12 under the direction
of Geoff Painter.
During her career with the Supernova team they have won 2 Ontario Cups
(U12 & U14), the U12 Indoor Ontario Cup and the Canadians
U14 National Championships which was held in October
of 2004.
Proud parents Susan and Nigel Beach were surprised by the
invitation but are very happy and proud of
Devon's accomplishments. "We are in a state of shock"
Mom Susan said. "We knew Scouts were attending
this game but with so many great players we didn't
think Devon would be chosen. Devon has always worked hard and
she has never complained about
going to practices or even getting up at 3:00 o'clock in the
morning on Saturday's to head to Toronto for the Provincial team practices." Susan proudly stated.

In July, Devon is
off to Edmonton, Alberta to participate in the
Rocky Mountain
Cup U15 division with Team Ontario.
To prepare for the Rocky Mountain Cup she will be also attending
the Team Ontario training camp in Toronto from June 30 - July 3.
Details of the National Team is unknown at this time, but if
Devon continues with the team she could be off to
Germany this summer to compete in an international event!
Devon is in grade nine and attends Northern Collegiate.
