Lancers split final regular season road games against McMaster and Brock

October 17

 

The Lancer women’s soccer team split their weekend series on the road, defeating the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, yet falling to the Brock Badgers on Sunday.

 

In Hamilton on Saturday, Lancer rookie goaltender Danielle St. Germain earned her fourth shut out of the season in the Lancers 1-0 win over the Marauders.

 

Emilie Glanz scored her first goal of the season to give Windsor the win.


October 18

On Sunday, the Lancers struggled both offensively and defensively against the host Badgers.  Windsor was unable to get on the scoreboard, and fell to the Badgers 4-0.

 

The weekend puts the Lancers at 4-4-4 for the season and in sole possession of fifth place in the OUA West.

 

The Lancers close out the regular season next weekend as they host the York Lions on Saturday afternoon and the Guelph Gryphons on Sunday. Both games are at 1:00pm on Alumni Field.
