Bob has been involved in minor sports in the Sarnia Lambton Area for 38 years. 

In 1970 Bob started coaching football & lacrosse in the Sarnia Minor Athletic Association.  During the 1970s Bob was involved in coaching and managing teams in the township and Sarnia Minor Hockey Associations for 22years. 1981, 82, 83 coached juvenile teams to North American Silver Stick Championship Finalists & All-Ontario Finalists. 1985-1990 was involved with Petrolia Jets hockey team and was manager and also served as league convener for the Great Lakes Jr. C league.

1997-2003 Managed the Wallaceburg Lakers
Jr. “C” hockey team in the Great Lakers Jr. “C” league.

  • 1 Great Lakes League Champions
  • 1 Jr. “C” All-Ontario Finalists


Bob had been involved in fastball in Sarnia for 21years as a coach and manager

  • 1986 Sarnia Sanivan AA fastball intermediate All-Ontario Finalists
  • 1987 Sarnia Sanivan AA fastball intermediate All-Ontario Champions
  • 1990 Camlachie AA fastball intermediate All-Ontario Finalists
  • 8 town and country fastball championships
  • 2 Bluewater fastball championships


Bluewater Sharks summer hockey for 3 years

  • 2002 Inducted into Bluewater Sharks Hall of Fame
