In Sarnia Hockey Midget Tier 2
Peyton Demarco picked up his
first points of the season in
big fashion scoring a hat trick
and adding two assists in
leading Beehive Windows and
Doors to an 11-5 victory over
Dante Club.
Tyler Oudman lit the lamp twice
and added one assist in his
efforts. William Lee scored his
first two goals of the season
and Abby Miller also scored her
first goal while adding two
assists. Clayton Peters also
scored once and added two
assists. Both Alexander Tanguy
and Jacob Cunningham rounded out
the scoring with one apiece.
Dylan Schroeter, Jamie Roberts
and Daniel Field chipped in with
a pair of assists while Jennifer
MacNaughton, Matthew Vandenberg
and Matthew Desrosiers all
supplied one.
Goalie Daniel Brush picked up
the win for Beehive with some
key saves.
Answering for Dante Club was
Hunter Raymo with a hat trick
and singles markers from both
Ben Wilson and Evan Kwan.
Credited with assists were
Dallas Henry, Tyson Passingham
and Robert Smith each with one.
Goalie Kenny Portiss gave a
valiant effort for his
prospective team.
With the possibility of sole
possession of first place on the
line both Sarnia Cement and
Lakeshore Optimists had to
settle with a hard fought 3-3
tie leaving both teams with 10
points apiece.
Vincent Lavoie scored all three
Lakeshore goals with Logan
Harvey set up two of Lavoie’s
goals and Cole Brown set up the
other.
Mitchell Neal’s second goal of
the game with four minutes
remaining prevented Sarnia
Cement from taking the loss.
Jacob Wilson was the other
sniper. Cole Armstrong earned a
pair of assists while Zackary
Roehler, Zachary Turner and
Jacob Wilson each had one.
Both goaltenders Daniel
DiFederico (Sarnia Cement) and
Jonathan Kameka (Lakeshore) had
their moments, coming up with
big saves and keeping their
teams in the hunt for a win.
