Sarnia Cement clinched first
place at the conclusion of the
regular season after defeating
Beehive Windows and Doors 3-1.
Zach Roehler opened the scoring
for Sarnia Cement with both
Jacob Wilson and Mitchell Neal
drawing the assists. Beehive was
quick to answer scoring less
than a minute later when Tyler
Oudman found the back of the net
on a set up from Clayton Peters.
Jacob Wilson regained the lead
for Sarnia Cement early in the
second period. Credited with the
helpers were both Zach Turner
and Austin Cormier. Mitchell
Neal secured the win scoring
into the empty net unassisted
with just over 2 minutes left in
the game.
Goalies Daniel DiFederico
(Sarnia Cement) and Daniel Brush
(Beehive) were solid between the
pipes.
It was an evenly matched game
between Dante Club and Lakeshore
Optimists as they finished the
regular season tying at 7
apiece.
Vincent Lavoie picked up a hat
trick for Lakeshore in his
efforts. Bryce Dummitt supplied
a goal and two assists while
Joshua Glass earned a goal and
an assist. Singles went to both
Darius Brooks and Maxwell Musico.
Contributing the helpers were
Matthew Dunn, Tristan Salisbury
and goalie Jonathan Kameka.
Providing the offence from Dante
club was Mackenzie Fiddy and
Dallas Henry as they both
notched hat tricks. Ben Wilson
rounded out their scoring with
one. Hunter Raymo supplied two
assists and Zach Montgomery,
Tyson Passingham, Robert Smith
and Duncan Taylor each had one.
Both goalies Jonathan Kameka
(Lakeshore) and Kenny Portiss
(Dante Club) came up with some
huge saves during the contest.
