The Mooretown Flags got off to a
great start in the Great Lakes
Junior C Hockey League this year
with a 4 and 2 for the month of
September.
Leading the way for the Flags
was goalie Brandon Johnson with
4 wins and 1 loss in 5 starts.
In those 5 games Brandon had a
very respectable GAA of 2.36 but
even more impressive was his
save percentage of .952. Of his
4 wins 1 was a shutout and 2
were in OT. One of those OT
games was a 64 save performance
on the road in Lakeshore. With
this performance Brandon has
been named Player of the Month
for the month of September by
the Great Lakes Junior C league.
