
The Legionnaires were in St. Thomas on Friday and lost 4 - 0 to the
Stars in Greater Ontario Hockey League action.
Three of the Stars goals were power
play goals. In the first period the Stars scored a single and
went on and scored two power play goals in the second and a single
power play goal in the third. In total the Stars had
seven power play opportunities. Sarnia went zero on four
chances.
Spencer Hutchinson, Matt McJannet
scored singles for the Stars and Ethan Nother added two.
Sarnia outshot St. Thomas 36 - 34.
Shayne Battler took the loss in net for the Legionnaires, Dan Black
earned the win.
Sarnia is sitting in sixth place with
a record of 7-7-1-1 three points behind LaSalle (8-5-2-1). The
Legionnaires look to narrow that gap with a win on Thursday November
5th when they host last place St. Mary's. (2-11-1-2). Game
