The Sarnia North School Soccer
Tournament was recently held during cold and blustery conditions at
Germain Park. Lakeroad, King George, Rosedale, Cathcart, Bright's
Grove, and Errol Road sent their best boy's and girl's team to the
tourney.
On the boy's side, a strong Errol Road team found themselves down
early to Cathcart 1-0. However, they were able to fight back with
two goals and secure their third straight championship.
On the girl's side, Errol Road and
Bright's Grove played to a scoreless draw that led to an exciting
penalty finish. Lindsay Barwitzki was the hero stopping all four
Errol Road shooters and scoring herself as Bright's Grove were
crowned champions.
