In Sarnia Hockey Midget Tier 1
action Mr. Sub topped Kel-Gor
7-4.
Both Vaughan Degurse and
Nicholas Goodall scored a pair
of goals and added a pair of
assists in the win. Ryan Gould
supplied one goal and an assist
while Zachary Matias and Jordy
Grondin also scored once.
Matthew Aalbers chipped in with
two assists and Jacob Ayers,
Andrew Kapteyn, Adam L’Heureux
and Eric Lange each contributed
one. Daniel Joyce netted a pair
of goals for Kel-Gor. Marcus
Cossa earned a goal and an
assist while Hunter
Thompson-Smith rounded out the
scoring with a single. Donald
Stephenson, Lucas Davis and
Bryson Daye each were credited
with one assist apiece.
Goaltender Hendrix Lindhout (Mr.
Sub) picked up the win while
goaltender Lucas Cicchelli (Kel-Gor)
kept Mr. Sub off the score sheet
in the third period with a solid
effort.
D&S Service Centre got back in
the win column with a 5-2
victory over Pt. Edward
Ex-Serviceman.
Nicholas Cooper notched a pair
of goals and added an assist in
his efforts for D&S. Aaron
Cicchini scored into an empty
net and also earned two assists
while Jack McAuley and Adam
Vanderlaan were the other two
snipers. Adam Kapteyn chipped in
with two assists and Cameron
Vandenbossche had one. From Pt.
Edward Matthew Woods scored on a
set up from Ethan Kilbreath.
Jayce Barnaby was the other
marksman as Jarrett Jackson
spotted him open. Both
goaltenders Nicholas Gardner
(D&S) and Noah Caverly (Pt.
Edward) played great for their
respective teams.
