The
2010 Royale Cup Canadian
Junior Girl’s Golf
Championship begins
today at Sawmill Creek
Golf Resort and Spa in Camlachie.
The prestigious event
will feature
some of the top junior
golfers from across
Canada.

On Monday night
the opening ceremonies
was held at Sawmill with
each province
represented along with
Tournament and Local
dignitaries.


Fans will be able to
cheer on some local
entries. They include
Miranda David of Huron
Oaks, Stephanie
Charteris and Nicole
McDonald, both of the
Sarnia Golf and Curling
Club.
This will be the first
time ever a RCGA event
like this has been held
at any golf course in
the Sarnia-Lambton area.
The best part for golf
fans is there will be NO
admission charge.
Competition
begins Tuesday, August 3
at 7:30 a.m. The field
will be reduced to the
top 70 and ties after 36
holes. There is no
admission charge.
