The Bud Morrison Award recognizes a person who over a number of years has made significant contributions  to the youth in their sport endeavors. (ie: coach, manager, official, trainer, facility maintenance, including school officials)

Doug Campbell, trainer

The Bud Morrison Award recognizes a person who over a number of years has made significant contributions to the youth in their sport endeavors. (ie coach, manager, official, trainer, facility maintenance, including school officials).

Doug Campbell a level 3 trainer was born in Glasgow Scotland and grew up involved in sports came to Canada in 1963 and continued to play and coach soccer until 1997.

Since 1996 he has been a trainer with AAA, Jr. C and Jr. B hockey Clubs in Lambton County.  He also was the provincial trainer at  U15 (2013,14), U16  (2007,08,09,10,11,12) U17 (2003,05,06,13) OHL Camps. Mr. Campbell also completed 14 consecutive years as trainer at the Alliance Hockey Under 17 Camp in Woodstock.

Mr. Campbell is known amongst the minor hockey community for his many attributes including his positive attitude, willingness to help in any situation and most importantly, for always treating minor hockey players with respect and kindness.
