2017 Bud Morrison Award
The Bud Morrison Award recognizes a person who over a number of years has made significant contributions  to the youth in their sport endeavors. (ie: coach, manager, official, trainer, facility maintenance, including school officials)

Larry Lecour

 

Larry Lecour has won the Bud Morrison award, which is for a person who has made a

significant contribution over many years to youth in their sports endeavours.
 

He has been involved as an executive, manager and coach with championship teams in baseball, softball and hockey.

 

In baseball, he was involved with six championship teams during the 1980s, at the

tyke, pee wee, bantam and midget levels.

In softball, meanwhile, he was part of an Ontario championship squad in 1973, as well as being a midget coach of the year in 1989 and a winner of a Gold Bat Tournament committee award in 1996 for dedication and promotion of baseball in Sarnia.

 

He has also had a distinguished record as a coach and manager in minor hockey.
