disappointing weekend for the Mooretown Atom
Storm as they were defeated in back to back
games.

In Petrolia Saturday
, Mooretown surrendered the game winner with 10
seconds remaining to fall 5-4.
Evan Musson played a
solid game in net.
Jared Pageau scored
all 4 goals for the Storm with Elijah Contreras
adding 2 assists.
Sunday @ home vs
Harrow Harrow 4 Mooretown 2
In a hard fought
game Mooretown was defeated by the visiting
Harrow Rams 4-2. It was Mooretown's 2nd loss in
as many days.
Mooretown opened the
scoring on a goal from Jared Pageau as Justin
Murphy and Elijah Contreras assisted. The Storm
led 1-0 after 1 period.
Harrow scored three
straight goals before Jared Pageau scored with 8
seconds remaining to pull within 3-2 after 2
periods.
The Rams scored the
lone goal in the third to secure the 4-2 win.
Emma McCormick
played a good game in net.
Mooretown now must
regroup and focus on the four games this week,
including an exhibition game vs Barrie at the
Joe Louis Arena in Detroit before the Caps/Wings
game Saturday evening. This should be a great
thrill for the kids.
