Sarnia Legionnaire sniper Chase Clark is in fourth place in the Western Ontario Hockey Conference playoff scoring sweepstakes.

Statistics released Monday show the big rightwinger has an impressive nine points in five games. A trio of London Nationals hold down the top three spots, with Shaun Furlong leading the pack with 13 points. The Nats feasted on a weak Leamington Flyers team in the quarter-finals, scoring 32 goals in just four games.

Still, Clark, who has five goals and four assists to his credit, is just two points out of second, which is held by Londoner Marcus Pepe. Pepe has a Sarnia connection, having been released by the Ontario Hockey League's Sarnia Sting at training camp.

Legionnaires Owen Rogers and Jesse Drydak are in a five-way tie for sixth place with eight points each. Rogers has four goals and four assists, while Drydak has scored twice and set up six other goals. Others with eight points include Seth Griffith of the St. Marys Lincolns and Adam McKee and Chris MacKay of London.

Legionnaire captain Tyler Cicchini hasn't cracked the top ten yet, but he's close, with four goals and three assists for seven points.

Among conference goaltenders, Sarnia's Jesse Raymond has the third best stats, with a goals-against-average of 2.99 and a save percentage of .915. London's Mike Coulter and St. Thomas Star Jared Richmond are slightly ahead of him.

The Legionnaires return to action this Thursday when they host the Chatham Maroons in Game Six of their quarterfinal series. The Maroons lead the series 3-2 in games. Game time at the Brock Street Barn is 7:30 p.m.
