Meet the 2010
Sarnia In Motion
Pacers
(Players by
Alphabetical Order)
Josh Bujaki:
After
missing the 2009
season due to injury
we are looking for
Josh to compete hard
this season. He has
a strong presence on
the defensive end of
the floor and his
work ethic will
inspire his fellow
teammates.
Brandon Burr:
Brandon
is in his rookie
season with the
Pacers. He is a
highly intelligent
player that sees the
floor very well and
also has the ability
to put the ball in
the net. The
coaching staff
speaks very highly
of Brandon and his
work ethic. We look
forward to having
him be a Pacer for
many years to come.
Mike
Butler:
Mike is entering
his 3rd season with
the Pacers. His
speed and ball
handing makes him a
central part of our
transition game. We
will be looking for
leadership from Mike
this season both on
and off the floor.
Dan Charlton:
Dan is in his rookie
season with the
Pacers. Despite
being a rookie, his
talent, size and
smarts are those
typical of our
veteran players. Dan
will not only play a
key role on offense
with his goal
scoring ability, he
will also keep the
other teams scorers
in check on defense
with this size and
tenacity.
Ryan Chartiers:
Charts is
entering his 3rd
season with the
Pacers. He is the
anchor of our
defensive squad. His
crushing hits make
the opposing team
goal scorers cringe.
He also strikes fear
into opposing
goalies when he gets
the chance to make
it to the offensive
end. We will be
looking for his
leadership in the
locker room as well
as on the floor.
Kyle Conroy:
After taking a few
seasons off of
lacrosse to pursue
other sporting
interests, Kyle has
decided to pick up
the stick again and
the coaching staff
couldn’t be happier
with his decision.
Kyle is unrelenting
in the defensive
end, his intensity
is second to none
and his speed and
ball handling
ability make him a
pure transition
player. We are
looking forward to
seeing what Kyle's
full potential is on
the floor.
Shayne Cox:
Shayne
will be joining the
Pacers after an
extremely successful
season with the
Sarnia Intermediate
Pacers in 2009.
Shayne led the
Intermediates in
scoring last season
and will be looked
upon to put an end
to some of the
offensive woes the
Pacers have endured
in the past.
Mitch Doughty:
Mitch is entering
into his rookie
season with the
Pacers. Mitch brings
something to the
table that you just
can’t teach and that
is heart. He might
not be the biggest
player on the floor
but one thing for
sure is when he is
out there you will
notice him. He has
the ability to put
the ball in the net
but more notably,
his offensive
playmaking ability
has even our veteran
players impressed.
Mitch is the type of
player that every
coach wants on his
team.
Llew Falla:
Llew is
a rookie goaltender
for the Pacers this
season. He brings a
great attitude,
strong work ethic,
and very good
athleticism to the
team. He is a quick
learner and will no
doubt get accustom
to the fast pace of
Jr B lacrosse. Llew
will surely become
an asset to our
organization for
many seasons to
come.
Kyle Ferguson:
2010 is Kyles
sophomore year with
the Pacers. Last
year he showed that
he has heart,
determination and he
will do whatever it
takes to be
successful on the
floor. He has the
ability to put the
ball in the net and
also play a gritty
style of lacrosse
that gives headaches
to the opposing
team.
Stevee General:
Stevee is starting
his second year as a
Sarnia Pacer but not
in the conventional
way. Last year
Stevee split
goaltending duties
with Justin “House’
Matthews and Bobby
Smith. This year he
is stripping off the
goaltending gear and
going to be an
offensive threat for
the Pacers. Stevee
has a cannon for a
shot that is going
to intimidate anyone
that gets in the
way. With his style
of play he brings a
lot of options to
the table for
offensive coach
Shaun “The Big Show”
Kennedy.
Chris Gibbs:
Gibby is starting
his 3d season as a
Pacer. His work
ethic is absolutely
second to none and
his attitude and
poise is going to
make him a huge part
of our defensive
corps.
Dylan Lee:
Dylan comes to the
Pacers this season
via the Hamilton
Bangles Jr B
lacrosse team. This
is Dylans 3rd
season in the
Ontario Jr B loop
and is a proven
player that will
drastically help the
Pacers in the
defensive end,
transition and
hopefully will be
able to bulge the
twine a few times
this season.
TJ Mara:
TJ is set to start
his second season as
a Jr B Pacer. The
coaches are
impressed with his
hard work on the
floor and his
willingness to do
anything asked of
him. He is a solid
two way player but
will be looked upon
to help out the
offense the most and
build upon his
promising rookie
season.
Justin Matthews:
Justin, better
known as “House” is
the back stop and
back bone of the
Pacers. He will be
looked upon to keep
the goals against
down and show rookie
goaltender Llew
Falla what it takes
to be a quality
keeper in the Jr B
loop.
Dyaln McNiel:
Dylan is a rookie
player for the
Pacers this season.
Dylan is big, strong
and is going to make
things tough for the
opponent’s offenses.
Dylan has had a very
strong minor career
with the minor
Pacers and the
coaching staff knows
that he is only
going to continue to
improve.
Terry Millar:
Terry
comes back to the
Pacers after
spending a year
playing lacrosse in
Kitchener. He is a
welcome addition to
the right side of
our offense and will
be a leader to our
offensive players.
Terry will immensely
help out an offense
player that has had
limited success over
the past few
seasons.
Brock Murphy:
Brock is coming to
the Pacers via the
storied Clarington
Green Gales
organization. Only
with the team for a
short time, Brock as
already proved to be
a leader in the
dressing room and on
the floor. His hard
nosed/gritty style
of play is going to
bring another
dimension to the
tough style of
lacrosse the Pacers
are looking to play
this season.
Jimmy Purves:
Jimmy is
starting his 4th
season with the
Pacers. He has been
one of the Pacers
top point getters
over his career and
the coaching staff
is looking for this
trend to continue.
Jimmy’s natural
athletic ability
makes him the type
of player that every
team wants to have.
Look for Purves to
have a break out
season with the new
style that the
coaching staff plan
to implement this
season.
Cody Ross:
This will be Codys
rookie season with
the Pacers. Cody is
a sound player that
has all the skill
sets that will make
him a Pacer for many
years to come. His
work ethic on the
floor is relentless
and is impossible to
miss.
Lance Ross:
Lance is entering
his 4th
season as a Pacer.
Lance is a pure
athlete and will see
the floor for every
crucial situation
this season. He is
reliable and takes
care of his own end
just as good if not
better then anyone
in the league. He is
a true leader and
will be looked upon
to come up big in
all situations this
season.
Aaron Schieman:
Skeeter is returning
for his second
season in a Pacer
uniform. Aaron will
be looked upon to
keep the offense on
the right track.
Skeeter had a strong
2009 season and the
staff hopes he will
continue to improve
and put up the
numbers he is
capable of.
Connor
Smith:
Smitty is a rookie
this season but
plays with the
confidence of a 5th
year player. His
ability to pick up
loose balls and to
find the open man
will be an asset for
the Pacers. He oozes
the definition of
hard work and this
should rub off on
the rest of the
team.
Ben Tamming:
This is Bens first
year back to
lacrosse after a
hiatus from the
sport for a few
years. Ben picked up
right where he left
off and continues to
improve every time
he hits the floor.
The staff expects
big things from Ben
at both ends of the
floor.
Riley Thompson:
This is
Riley’s last season
wearing the Pacer
uniform. Riley will
be the Captain for
the team this year
and rightfully so.
There are just too
many positive things
to say about Riley
to fit into a small
blurb. He is the
definition of a true
lacrosse player. He
plays both ends of
the floor as good as
anyone in the league
and does it with
class. The team
lives and dies with
Riley, he defines
the Pacer name.
Josh Yurchuck:
Josh is entering his
3rd
season with the
Pacers. Josh is a
true transition
player and can
handle himself
superbly in any
situation he may
find himself in on
the floor. He will
be looked up heavily
to help put goals on
the scoreboard for
the Pacers and keep
them off for the
opponents. |
