Raymond Re-Assigned
Overage Goaltender Adam
Courchaine Returns From Suspension This Thursday
Sarnia, ON –
Sarnia Sting Head Coach and
General Manager Dave MacQueen announced on
Tuesday that goaltender Jesse Raymond has been
re-assigned to the Sarnia Legionnaires Junior B
Hockey Club.
Overage netminder Adam Courchaine
who returned from training camp with the Boston
Bruins earlier this month, will be eligible to
return to action this Thursday following a
2-game suspension.
MacQueen had the following
comment regarding the decision. “With Adam
returning it left us with three goaltenders and
we wanted Jesse to get the playing time he needs
to continue his development. We want him to
stay here in Sarnia so he can work with our team
and our Goaltending Instructor Tim Bacik in
practice and so we could continue to track his
development. We feel Jesse is part of our
future and he will be available to us throughout
the season if we need to call up a goalie.”
The Sting’s next game is this
Thursday when the Barrie Colts visit the RBC
Centre. Game time is 7:30.
