MacQueen made
the move to
secure future
assets in
exchange for his
overage Captain.
“It is a move we
had to make in
order to acquire
draft choices
and a young
defenceman in
Flemington.”
MacQueen had
high praise for
his now former
Captain. “Jordan
Hill is a player
of the utmost
character and
was a leader on
and off the ice
with our hockey
club. Making our
team as a walk
on in 2007 he
put in the work
and effort into
making himself
one of the top
defencmen and
one of the best
leaders in our
league. Being
from Sarnia,
Jordan took
tremendous pride
in playing for
the Sting and
was an
outstanding
member of our
community giving
back throughout
the entire year.
He will surely
be missed by the
entire Coaching
Staff and every
player in our
dressing room.
We wish him
nothing but the
best in Saginaw
and in his
future in
hockey.”
