LCCVI vs NLSS

Wednesday, In Petrolia the LCCVI Lancers took a close 3 - 2 win over North Lambton Eagles.  In this close game both sides went scoreless in the first period.  LCCVI scored a single in the second to take the 1 - 0 lead heading into the third.  Cullen Hunter from Bret Vandenbroek scored the lone goal.  In the third the Eagles tied things up on a powerplay goal by Dillon Campbell assisted by Chris Steven.  LCCVI regained the lead just over a minute later with Jesse Ferguson from Dallas Fraser and Jace Dupuis scoring.  With 5:15 left on the clock North Lambton tied things up once again with Jordan Hayes scoring from Tony Delitala and with just :02 seconds left on the clock Chad Rainsberry scored the winning goal assisted by Cullen Hunter.  In net for the win was Hunter Johnson.

In Girls action at Germain arena the St. Clair Colts defeated SCITS by a score of 4 - 1.  Coultes, Moore, Dunn & Brinksman scored for the Colts with assists by Brinksman(2), Pawson, Macdonald and Dark.  Winning goal Lachappelle.

Emily Williams from Nicole MacPherson and Alicia Bergman scored the single goal for SCITS.  Brianne Belager took the loss in net.

In other Girls Hockey action Northern defeated St. Christopher 1 - 0. Earning the shut out Brittany Quackenbush.
