Former Sarnia Spirit player Gina Pacheco has been named to the Canadian National Women’s soccer team to represent Canada in a pair of friendly matches against the USA.

In the first game on Sunday July 19, Pacheco made her first appearance with the Canada's U20 team.  Canada lost to the US 1 - 0 click here for game highlights.
 

The second game is set for Wednesday July 22 night at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, SC.

 

Gina played travel soccer for Sarnia Spirit before moving to Ottawa to join the Ottawa Fury program.  Gina is a sophomore at the University of Florida and is a member of the USF Bulls women's soccer team.  Gina is the Daughter of Tony and Fay Pacheco.
