1975 Wyoming Junior Softball Team

 

The 1975 Wyoming Junior A Softball team won the Ontario Amateur Softball Association Championship.  The 1975 team was essentially the same team, the Wyoming McGrail juvenile Softball team, which in the previous year won the Ontario Amateur Softball Championship for Juvenile C teams.

The Wyoming teams played in the Bluewater Fastball league with such teams as the Sarnia Glis and Chamlachie Grain & Feed.  The run to the OASA championship included wins over Rostock, Waterloo, Grimbsby and the finals against Kemptville (near Ottawa).  The win over Grimsby in the 3^rd and deciding game was 1 – 0 in 18 innings. 

 

Team members included:
Rob Menzies, Lou Dimuzio, Bob Cantan, Randy Core, Barry Edgar, Bob Gould, Keith Helps, Schott Houghton, Dan Johnson, Stan Mantej, Mark Pettit, Doug Syer, Dave Tetreault, Jim Towle, Steve Whitely, Rob Wilkins and Dale Wilson.  Jack Druitt was the Coach and John Dawson was Manager and Coach.
