Bonnie Kearns was a founding member of the Moore Gymnastics Club (now known as the Bluewater Gymnastic Club). The club began in 1975 and Kearns was involved as a coach and fundraiser until 1982.
Since then Kearns has volunteered with Red Cross, travelling as a Disaster Nurse to places like Afghanistan, Pakinstan, Puerto Rico and at Ground Zero in New York in September 2001. She has also volunteered for the Inn of the Good Shepherd, and was a member of the District Health Council and the Chemical Valley Emergency Organization.
