Earl MacKenzie Award
Herb Burdett
Herb Burdett has won the Earl MacKenzie award, which is
for people involved in sports for at least 30 years who
are deemed worthy of enshrinement.
Burdett has been involved in many sports, although he's
perhaps best known for Tae Kwan Do, where he won his
first championship tournament, defeating top black belt
competition from Canada and the United States.
He was also a standout runner, once breaking the three
hour barrier at the Boston International Marathon.
