Former Boston Bruin left winger Kraig Nienhuis inducted for his achievements as a professional hockey
player.
Nienhuis, a graduate of Sarnia Jr. 'B' hockey, played 87 games in the NHL over three seasons, scoring 20 goals and collecting 16 assists.
Kraig also had a distinguished professional career outside of the NHL, playing in the American Hockey League and for a number of European pro teams. Playing in Europe during the 1995 campaign, he collected 91
points, including 53 goals in just 36 games!
He also represented Canada in international play.
At the end of his career he played close to home, toiling for the Port Huron Border Cats of the UHL, where he was once again a standout.
