Dave Little's interest in ATV racing began as an outdoor enthusiast who loved to get out and ride. In fact, his first ATV was ridden around a farm and woodlots in the Courtright area.
 

He became a motocross participant, often filling in at halftime shows at events such as Monster Trucks, Supercross and racing. He then turned to flat track racing, running at tracks throughout Ontario, Quebec and Ohio.
