Dan Edwards has won this award for his outstanding contributions to the community.
 

Edwards, a former high school football star, has been confined to a wheelchair since being

injured in an accident at age 18.
 

He has used that experience to become a top flight motivational speaker who brings a message of hope and perseverance to his audiences.

Community leaders have lauded him for his efforts to help young people overcome depression and

helplessness.
