Julia Greenshields

Julia Greenshields is the winner of the Jack Isom Award, which goes to Olympic and/or international athletes.

Greenshields got involved in rugby at age 15 and has never looked back. She joined the Sarnia Saints squad while still attending St. Clair Secondary School and got her big break at the University of Western Ontario when she was carded as a full time player by Rugby Canada.

In 2012 she moved to Victoria as the youngest member of the Canadian team, to train at the Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence.

She has travelled the globe as a member of Canada's rugby sevens squad. In fact, she was a member of the Canadian team that won a major tournament in Australia. After that, she took part in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.

In her first 120 or so games she had more than 50 tries and 15 conversions.

Julia has also helped young people by coaching under-18 teams.
