Emma Joris

Emma Joris has won the Pappy Burr Award, which goes to outstanding students about to enter post secondary education.

The award is one of the more impressive given by the Sarnia-Lambton Sports Hall of Fame because it requires the recipient to have been praise-worthy in a number of completely different categories.

Emma easily made the grade. Indeed, as a student she has excelled in everything from business to music and has been honoured for both academic and athletic excellence. On top of all that, she has a fine record when it comes to community involvement.
