The Braves were both Ontario Sr. 'A' baseball champions and Canadian bronze medallists. At a provincial championship tourney the Braves dominated, winning the final game against defending champion Windsor by a 12-6 count. Pitcher Bob Bush had three wins and slugger Tim Symington had a home run in each of the team's six tournament games.
